In Western’s new Academic Instruction Center, one entire floor will be a new animal lab.

                                   Instead of following in the steps of universities like Harvard  and utilizing readily available

                                   alternatives to animal research that are both humane and cost effective, Western is going the

                                                           complete opposite direction with the new animal lab.

                               WWU actively participates in animal research and is planning to expand and

                                move the animal lab to the new Academic Instructional Center (AIC) building.

                                        Please sign our petition HERE to tell Western that we do not

                                        want animal experimentation to continue on our campus!

 Please join us in encouraging our university to not only stop the expansion, but to end all animal

research on campus and adopt humane methods of educating about science.
